Shadowlands' Four World Bosses & Their Loot DropsĪlthough the drop rates, as well as actual loot, may change in future World of Warcraft updates, each Shadowlands world boss currently drops item level 207 gear and other helpful items. For those new to Word of Warcraft, each world boss works in a fashion similar to the Icecrown Rares in Shadowlands' pre-patch and drop loot accordingly. Adventurers will need to act fast, because a lot of players will be rushing toward that spot on the map to take the world boss down as quickly as possible. Once a Shadowlands world boss becomes available, it will show up on the map as a world quest with a corresponding icon.

Additionally, each world boss is specific to a certain realm in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, so they'll only spawn in that specific zone. The world bosses are Valinor, the Light of Eons, Mortanis, Oranomonos the Everbranching, and Nurgash Muckformed. For now, the world bosses are on a weekly rotation, which means only one will spawn each week.
