Stop.As you can guess from the title, it takes the ‘hyperreal’ difficulty and cranks it up to 12, maybe 13. When I said that viability of renewable power is not a subject for this forum, that applies to both sides of the argument. There are still issues of baseline loads vs peaks in demands in the real world, but both nuclear and wind/solar come off looking poorly present day. There are still issues of baseline loads vs peaks in demands in the real world, but both nuclear and wind/solar come off looking poorly present day.Įdit: to be fair, the math was correct, you just plugged in the wrong number at the start. Especially with "future tech" in energy transmission and storage. Coupled with renewable energy mods idea of tying wind and solar together, it's within reason to have it replace a nuclear plant. So instead of Fort Calhoun producing 1.5 million times more electricity, it "only" produces 2.7 times more electricity. And you didn't need to, there are two very simple numbers:įort Calhoun output : 484,000 kW or 484 mW You seriously messed up calculating Adair's output. Originally posted by Rakdar:My Math is off? Why tell me where i went wrong Adair wind farm outputs 174,800 kW, which you decided to turn into 174,800 kW per day and than brought down to a laughable 7.something kWh which led you to 1.5 million more power for Fort Calhoun. It'd be like if made a mod titled "Realistic Overhaul" And in it i put magic giant crabs dragons and other fantasy elements into it. Sure you can make a mod that does that, I just think its a little disingenuous to title it as a realism mod when it isnt realistic. As a realism mod, that i took issue with, one that is supposedly better then the nuclear plant. The problem wasn't the mod itself it is how it is advertised. It actually isn't all that difficult to make a response. And I'm fairly sure its much simpler to type out a detailed argument then to make a new mod from scratch. If you're willing to spend the energy typing hundreds of words about how someone else has done it wrong, why not make your own mod? I'm sure they exist, I just don't know where to look.
